Jip Sullayev

Jip Sullayev was a character I played in a Lancer RPG game. In fact, she was actually drawn from a character which I had made for a different game which I had never had the chance to play. It was a game about lesbians swordfighting I think, and so I had resolved that my character would be a great obstacle to the game, being completley terrified of both things; romance and fighting. Jip was a little bit more reformed, with the anxiety being held more under the surface to a degree where even she is unaware of it, and she's generally a lot more competent in combat.

But Jip was born in a small town on a far out colony world called Dumoi, one with a lot of natural resources, and so it garnered the interest of some major powers on the galactic stage, and eventually one of them mounted an invasion against the planet. As the fighting came to her village, her house was destroyed, along with her parents, and so she was taken in by an officer of one of the free companies defending Dumoi.

Before a major attack, which was quite apparently hopeless. So, the commander in an effort to send her away from the danger, sent her to a lancer training program. There she met Sam a live streamer and her companion who after their training joined her in being a pair of hired pilots.

After the events of the campaign Jip bought and moved to a small cabin back on her home world. What happened between Sam and Jip at that time I don't know if it was ever fleshed out, but they did kiss at the end.
